好昧波 Homemade balls

Snacks are kinda necessary. These are super simple ~ rich in potassium, protein and dietary fibre, they help me satisfy those sweet cravings.

Ingredients: (buy as much/ little as you need from Live Zero!)

  • 2 cups Almonds/ Cashews/ Mixed Nuts

  • 1 cup Sunflower/ Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1/4 cup Chia Seeds

  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil

  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder (or 1/4 cup chopped chocolate)

  • 2 cups Chopped Medjool Dates (from Foodcraft HK)

Play with adding: Maca/ Ginger/ Cinnamon/ Nut Butters/ Alfalfa Sprouts/ Vanilla Extract/ Nutritional Yeast/ Flaxseed/ Oats/ Desiccated Coconut/ Protein Powder to bulk them up.

Method:

In a food processor break up the nuts and seeds first however fine/ rough you like. Then anything else to combine. Add the dates last and watch it come together as it forms a loose ball. Then you're ready to start rolling with your hands. They can stay in the refrigerator from a week up to a month. Enjoy! x

*pictured: Rocky likes them straight out of the fridge with more bite (and without the chocolate).
